Terms & Conditions

Last updated 19 June 2026

These Terms & Conditions are the agreement between you and Antutive AB (Sweden), the company behind Famant, covering how you may use the Famant app and website. Please read them; using Famant means you accept them.

We’ve kept them as plain as we can. If anything is unclear, contact us and we’ll explain.

01Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Famant, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you’re using Famant on behalf of your family, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for your household. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Famant.

02Who can use Famant

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Famant account. As the account holder, you may add family members and manage information about your household, including children, where you are entitled to do so. You’re responsible for the people you invite and how your family space is used.

03Your account

  • Keep your login details private and don’t share your password.
  • Give us accurate information, and keep it up to date.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
  • You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account.

04Acceptable use

Famant is a calm, private space for families. To keep it that way, you agree not to:

  • Use Famant for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
  • Upload content that infringes someone’s rights or privacy, or that you don’t have permission to share.
  • Attempt to access, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service or other families’ data.
  • Use the service to send spam, malware, or unsolicited marketing.
  • Resell, rent, or commercially exploit Famant without our written permission.

05Your content & family data

Your family’s content is yours. You keep all rights to the events, lists, messages, and other information you add. You grant Antutive AB only the limited permission needed to host, process, sync, and back up that content so we can provide the service to you, nothing more.

You’re responsible for the content you add and for having the right to add it. We don’t claim ownership of your content and we don’t use it to advertise to you.

06Subscriptions & billing

Famant offers free features and optional paid plans. If you choose a paid plan:

  • Prices, features, and billing periods are shown before you confirm a purchase.
  • Subscriptions are billed through the app store you purchased from (Apple App Store or Google Play) and renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your app store account or in Settings → Account → Subscription.
  • Refunds are handled according to the policies of the app store you purchased through.

07Service availability & changes

We work hard to keep Famant available and dependable, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service. If we plan a significant change that affects you, we’ll aim to give reasonable notice.

08Intellectual property

Famant, the Famant name, the Liv mascot, our logo, design, and software are owned by Antutive AB and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms don’t give you any right to use our brand or materials except as needed to use the app as intended.

09Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Famant is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data beyond what the law requires. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights. Famant helps you organise family life; it is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal, or emergency services.

10Suspension & termination

You can stop using Famant and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or where required by law, and we’ll let you know where we reasonably can. On termination, the permissions you granted us end, except for anything that must survive by law.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Sweden, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Famant after a change means you accept the updated terms.
